You may have received a notice from Wordfence (if it is installed on your website) that WordPress version 6.7 is now available for installation.
Updates featured in the WP 6.7 include performance updates, including faster pattern loading, optimized previews in the data views component, improved PHP 8+ support and removal of deprecated code, auto sizes for lazy-loaded images, and more efficient tag processing in the HTML API. More details about this release can be viewed on the WordPress website.
If your site is covered by one of our WordPress Service Plans your site will be checked for compatibility, backed up, and updated as soon as possible. No sites are updated until fully checked for compatibility.
If your site is not covered by a WordPress Service Plan and your plan on updating yourself, please backup your site before installing.
If you DO NOT have a current WordPress service plan and would like your site updated, you must request updates to your WordPress site. Please use the contact form found HERE. There is a minimum, prepaid charge of $25 for this service.
WordPress Service Plans
WordPress Service Plans include file & database backups, file/data restoration if there are problems after the updated. Service Plans will not cover new or custom programming or structural changes that may be needed to if your theme or data is not compatible with a version update. Renewal cost for premium plugins or themes also not included.
