Why did I receive an ICANN Whois Update Notice?

It is your annual reminder to check to see that the contact data associated with your domain registration is accurate and up-to-date.

Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) requires that all information in your domain registration is valid. The email reminders serve the purpose of checking email accounts for accuracy.

If any part of your domain registration is not valid or accurate, you could lose rights of use for the domain under the terms of your registration. It is always best to double check information when you receive the annual notice and make any needed updates as soon as possible.
